Earlier this month, Regiment had the honor of being a part of opening a game room for American Legion post #58 in Guthrie, OK. Regiment relishes the opportunity to keep membership up by bringing in younger veterans and making them feel welcome.
As great as it is to think of the future, though, it is important to remember the Legion's impact on all veterans' lives. When one walks into a post, one becomes part of a tradition that has lasted over a century. Chartered by Congress in 1919, the Legion has championed the causes of the veteran community and changed what daily life looks like for veterans in extremely meaningful and tangible ways.

There wouldn’t be a VA without the tireless efforts of the Legion. They provide support in everything from feeding the hungry to assistance with the intimidating prospect of VA paperwork. Their tradition of serving their fellow veteran is something Regiment is proud to support. Video games prove themselves an asset for veterans more and more every day, and we are proud to be a part of the effort to show veterans who might not know the benefits of gaming another outlet.
To our brothers and sisters at the Legion, thank you for speaking for us. And to all considering joining, we encourage you to become part of this noble tradition. Let them know Regiment sent you. And don’t be surprised when you see Regiment jerseys when you walk in.
And if you use the link below to join or renew, you could win a trip to the Legion’s National convention, expenses paid!
